I would like to see additional options for unsubscribing from Alby Alert email notifications. Currently I am sent an email every day informing me that "This app does not have the get_balance scope". I am given the option to "unsubscribe from emails like this" however the only option I am given is to unsubscribe from all alerts. I do not want unsubscribe from every alert to do this as there may be other alerts that I want to see.

It would be good if there was an option to just choose not to get a specific type of alert or a way to acknowledge an alert so that you do not keep being sent the same email.

This is not a big problem as I can either just reactivate the get_balance scope or I can ignore the emails however it is just something that seems like it would be good to have.

Folks, I can see where you want to go with Alby Hub and that seems a good and and interesting solution.

But market needs more hosted and easy to use solutions, where most users don't have to deal with Nodes, Channels and don't worry about having their funds under someone's custody.

I understand the reasoning for willing to give people sovereignty of their funds, but before that comes mass adoption and that requires ease of usage. People just want to open an account, deposit some BTC and use it to pay stuff on the day by day. Nothing else.
In general people will/should not leave high amounts on a shared solution like this, but rather what they may used in short time.

I also understand offering a shared wallet solution does come with costs and Alby can recovery them not only with channel fees, but also with small fees on deposits made via Bitcoin mainnet to fund their wallet.
This is good for merchants as well to be able to withdraw to BTC mainnet wallet addresses after they have received a fair amount of sats.

After that is done, then you can have optionally to those more advanced to connect their nodes, if they have and wish to.
But more importantly is that adoption will not come before wish for sovereignty.

Facilitate adoption and find the right balance to cover the hosted costs and offer market a proper Lightning wallet solution, easy to use on both Desktop and Mobile devices.

With Taproot Assets and stablecoins coming to Lightning Network it will help to push for further adoption of Lightning Network usage.

Please add a functionality where when generating an invoice you can enter the amount in any Fiat currency rather than in Satoshi.

Currently you cannot know in real time how much that amount of satoshi equates to. We have to use an external tool for such things.

In a PoS scenario how the person handling the tab will know the amount of satoshi to enter in the app and show to customers ? He would have to use an external tool.

If possible add this feature show an option to enter in a default pre configured Fiat currency, but also allow people to choose another one if necessary.

As the balance on my Alby Hub increases and especially as I think about using the family and friends feature I have been thinking more about the security of my funds and my Alby account.

I am happy with the security of the Alby Hub itself however it seems to me that the weakest link is through the Get Alby account and the LND Hub credentials.

Anyone with access to my email would be able to log in to my Alby account with a one time login code.
Once they have access to my Alby account they would be able to generate new LND hub credentials and with this drain the full balance of my Hub.

This to me seems like a security concern and there is nowhere else that I would have a potentially significant amount of bitcoin secured only by access to my email account.

To help resolve this I think it would be great if we were able to either secure our entire Alby account or at least secure the ability to generate new LND Hub credentials with TOTP 2FA. That would give me comfort in knowing that if my email was compromised I would not immediately be at risk of losing all of the funds in my AlbyHub.

It may also be possible or beneficial to give users the option to disable the LND Hub Credentials altogether especially given that our connection needs can now be met by NWC connections created directly in the Hub.

"I think XXX and I would be interested in a total of 3 Alby Hubs, or at least 3 Lightning Addresses which could share a subscription, if that's possible."

Some services don't support Lightning Addresses and they ask for LNURL, which can be decoded with external websites - but it's not directly displayed in Alby.

Maybe it should be?

Add a message field to the paywall.

Paywall payments are in effect anon, which can be good, but sometimes people might want to send a message.

Example "inc your email for futuire discounts and offers"
