Some nodes live off the clearnet. It would be nice if there was a way for Alby Hub to be able to connect to those nodes in some way.

Alby Hub's embedded node (LDK) plans to support TOR in the future. However, if you run Alby Hub on Start9 or Umbrel with the default setup (LND) you can connect to TOR nodes.
roland I unfortunately use neither of those. I'm running through Docker on Unraid under my host network. Good to know it's somewhere on the roadmap though.
Hey roland would it be an option to set up an onion address for https://my.albyhub.com/ so that Cloud Hub node users can access their nodes via Tor?
(I'm not sure how much it would matter, if the node itself is on clearnet...?)
consciousdruid Hi, yeah I don't think it really makes sense. If you self-host and use Start9 you will get an onion address for each app you run on it, including Alby Hub.
