Inform users that their on-chain funds are in pending status when there’s a channel close so it’s clear that they are being returned within a time period.

This is currently done via email. Do you mean adding it somewhere in the UI?

roland (this feature request was added to the feedback board on behalf of a user. I think the user would like to see it directly in the dashboard. E.g. we could mark the channel in the Node page in a specific way to indicate that the channel is closing)

Moritz Point is, it does not show the TXID - which would allow the user to see on a block explorer what's the expected wait time and why his funds aren't showing up.

Also, it would allow him to Accelerate the tx through e.g. mempool.space.

It's a critical feature to show the txid, imho.
I considered it a bug before seeing this Issue here, and had raised https://feedback.getalby.com/-report-a-bug-1/posts/channel-closing-txid-not-shown-anywhere . Will close the bug, since it's duplicate.

Hopefully this is why my channel is gone but funds are not in my on-chain balance.
