Sometimes users don't want to pay with Alby because of some error with transaction. So they pay with another that cannot yet be connected to Alby (e.g. Phoenix).
There could be link below the payment/ confirm button in Alby: "Show invoice" . If a user clicks on it the user sees a QR code.

Hi, I think when users click to add a new account, should ask what type of account the user would like to add. For now has a list with a lot of options and maybe is hard for users to choose.

I think before show the connectors, should have a page with this:

Choose the type of account that best fits your case:

1- "Custodial wallet" - It gives you access to a wallet in a service provider that takes care of the custody and security of your funds. See the tradeoffs.

2- "Mobile wallet" - Connect your mobile lightning wallet into Alby and have access to the funds simultaneously on both devices. See the tradeoffs.

If a user comes across an Alby enabled website or social media account, they could instantly share the link with other alby users using a "share with alby" prompt.

When the user clicks the prompt, the wallet then grabs the URL with a pre-filled text like:

"Hey I found this and thought you might find it interesting"

With the link

The user would then pay 1 satsohis to send the link to another user with the memo info

The wallet could also make accommodations for shares so users can see shares they've done who shares they've received.

The wallet could also have a notification, you received a share today prompting them to open and explore the wallet creating more engagement in the app

The wallet could also have saved LN email addresses in an address book or autofil when they type in the name, making it easier (simliar to how ZBD wallet uses gamer tags)

If we could update the current Alby Meta tag to allow blog/site owners to specific their sites RSS feed and for the ably wallet to recognise it would be a great feature

The wallet could offer the option for the user to "favourite" the alby enabled app and it would have a spot in their wallet which would also provide a notification when new content is loaded on to the site

So the wallet could say (2) articles have been pushed live since your last visit/tip

It makes for a smoother experience between content creators and consumers, and enhances the Alby feature set as a reason to open up the wallet regularly

If you have Alby enabled on your website and a user tips you, it would be useful to perhaps have a section in the the wallet to grab the meta data/the URL

So bloggers are able to know which posts are getting the most tips/amount of tips

It gives you an idea of what content is tip worthy and what isn't , same could be done for social media accounts

The demo where I can send 25 sats is cool and works perfectly. Now I would like to make a real purchase or consume some content on a real website. But I don't know where I can do this. I saw some hints in the screenshots, but not sure how to get to those sites. It would be cool if there were a list of links to sites that support Alby.

The payment dialog gives no indication to the user that a payment is being made:

• The dialog could have a headline saying "Approve payment", "Send sats" or "Pay 25 sats to Alby"
• The amount should have the unit, e. g. "25 sats" instead of just "25"
• The button could say "Pay now" or "Confirm payment" instead of "Confirm".
• The warning "Only connect with sites you trust." is barely readable.

Hi, I think on accounts page should have two columns:
1- Balance on account
2- Balance on services.

So the user will know the balance he has on their accounts on Alby and the balance on services that he logged using Alby. (Related to: https://feedback.getalby.com/feature-requests-/posts/show-inside-alby-the-balance-i-have-on-a-specific-service-i-logg)

Obs. I think could even have an option to move (redeem) all funds from all services at once.

Wallet of Satoshi allows a user to not specify the amount for an invoice. Would like this ability to make it easier to accept payments from exchanges which already require a specified amount on the sending end.

Show inside Alby the balance I have on a specific service I logged using Alby and the option to deposit or withdraw directly from Alby window

So I will not need to browse on the service page to deposit, withdraw or see my balance on the service.

The Alby extension has a butotn "Give it a try" that links to getalby.com/demo

That page has no links to the GetAlby.com website (even though it is itself a page on the GetAlby.com website).

Specifically, I was looking for the /value4value (and/or /lightning-address) on that /demo and couldn't find anything there on it. At least a link to the GetAlby.com website homepage would have helped me find it easier.

Off the top of my head, knowing what backend the user is using could be helpful. Ideally it shouldn't matter, but the current mix of backends means different functionality is applicable to different users. (I.e. can't make amp payments to non-lnd users)
Lower on the list of wants would be to expose listpayments & listinvoices - but maybe only those that are relevant to the specific app you've approved

It would be useful to receive notifications from websites where I used Alby
For example https://stacker.news/ add a settings to notify about replies or new posts and if I connect on Stacker news using Alby, Alby receive this notifications and show to me? (Not on email, but as Alby notification on browser)

Use case:

1. Create lnauth account with Alby on PC browser
2. use mobile browser to log into same website, it provides a lnurl for logging in
3. Want to be able to use Alby on PC to authenticate by scanning phone with PC or pasting LNURL string into Alby

Invoices should not require the Description for creation - this should be optional

lnurl-pay can give platforms the ability to generate invoices on behalf of users who logged in their platforms. This would be a game changing functionality for lightning platforms

• user A logs in platform

• user B wants to pay user A

• platform generates invoice on behalf of user A - using lnurl-pay.
