An API where someone sends a GET request with the alby address in the query and the lightning address, customKey and customValue is returned would be nice.

You can use this API to get those details:

https://getalby.com/.well-known/keysend/[username]

We're also in the process of deriving some standard for discovering keysend information. (very much like the Lightning Address does.
