Brand profiles with multiple managers (multisig on lightning) | 🐝 Alby Extension - 💡 Request a Feature

Allow creating brand profiles for projects or organizations with multiple people that have their own LNURL.

The admins/managers of those profiles should be able to send payments using N-of-M authorization. Like a multisig on lightning.

Can you tell us more about how do you imagine this feature? Or tell us a bit about how would you use it?

Browser extension is client-side and thus we cannot have any push requests to sign anything in this kind of "multisig" transactions

Jakub I was thinking about the custodial service. I want to be just able to create more accounts in Alby without having to sign up using a new email address. And then add admins (existing Alby users) to the account, and when they make payments as the brand account, the owner gets a prompt (via email, or just an option in the web dashboard) to approve the txn.

basantagoswami we are going towards self-custody more, not expanding custodial services. Thing you ask for is very advanced and hard to create, at the same time it's very niche need, especially that lightning is not really used for amounts that would require multiparty signs.

But the experience you mention is technically possible I think with self-custodial wallets that are connected with Nostr Wallet Connect to some kind of service that offers what you ask. But someone needs to build it
